The fun part for us – is creating something exclusively for you!
Our projects are primarily on-site residential and small commercial interior repaints, decorative finishes for all surfaces, and cabinet refinishing. We work in new custom homes, builders’ model homes, with interior designers and their clients, as well as for home-owners who are redecorating. We also do in-house work in our studio/workshop, painting cabinets, murals, and custom art pieces. We design and finish everything from ceilings and floors, to custom tile and wall-coverings, to furniture and accessories.
( We paint everything!)
Our finishes offered are a variety of traditional and “on-trend” techniques including gilding, stenciling, hand painting, glazing, decorative plasters, murals and cabinet finishes. We are trained in many different mediums and product lines, so we’re able to create finishes that will accommodate most price points, and have an ample selection of design choices. The majority of the products we use are non-toxic, water-based,fast drying, and environmentally friendly.
We provide restoration services to damaged surfaces as well, such as furniture and decorative objects and can fairly accurately match the colors on existing high end faux finishes and wallpapers.
About Cindy
Interior decorative designer and artist Cindy Porter has been a craft professional for many years, and considers her work an absolute joy and passion!. In addition to college art and design in her early years, she received her journeyman certificate by completing a decorators apprenticeship, learning painting and wall-coverings skills while employed by other trade contractors. In 1985 she started her own painting, decorating, and interior finishing business, and over the years has continued to stay abreast of current decorating trends and techniques by attending cutting edge workshops, offered to trade professionals.
When away from work, Cindy enjoys time at home with her husband and son and their pets. She likes the outdoors and flower gardening, creating artwork, and floral design. Occasional community service projects she involves herself in almost always have something to do with painting, art, or improving a landscape.
